I was pre-diabetic going into the first fruit fast. It was one of the toughest things I’ve ever encountered. My faith grew exponentially. I learned a lot about myself during this period of time. When I completed it, I had a doctor’s appointment the next week. Got my lab results, my doctor told me “it was as if I never was pre-diabetic.” My A1C was no longer in the diabetic range, and I lost 13 pounds.
